Police have arrested a suspect in connection with the killing of New Jersey Councilwoman Eunice DwumfourDwumfour was killed outside her Sayreville home in early February

Police have arrested a suspect in connection with the murder of a New Jersey councilwoman who was gunned down outside her home.

Eunice Dwumfour, 30, was killed outside her home in Sayreville, New Jersey, in early February, with friends calling it a “personalized and targeted attack.”

He crashed his SUV and slumped over the wheel of his car after the attack, with horrified neighbors hearing several gunshots and then the crash.

Friends initially claimed he was shot seven times in the face, while police sources said at the time that he had been shot up to 14 times.

CBS New York anchor Alice Gainer first reported that authorities had done so made an arrest on Twitter.
