Sergio Ramos has announced that he will be leaving PSG after the club’s final game against Clermont on Saturday.
The legendary Spanish defender signed for the French side in 2021 and has won two Ligue 1 titles in Paris, but will leave the club when his contract expires this summer.
Ramos shared the news on Twitter, declaring: “Tomorrow is a special day, tomorrow I say goodbye to another stage of my life, goodbye @PSG_inside.
I don’t know how many places you can feel at home, but certainly PSG, the fans and Paris were one of them for me.
The 37-year-old is the latest big name to leave the French champions following confirmation that Lionel Messi will also leave the club at the end of his contract.

Ramos announced on Twitter that this weekend would be his last game with the club
Ramos moved from Real Madrid at the start of the 2021-22 season, but his first campaign was hit by injuries.
The defender did not make his debut for the club until November of that year, and would only play 13 games for the club in his debut season in the French capital.
This season, however, he has featured heavily for Christoph Galtier’s side, making 44 appearances and scoring 3 goals throughout the campaign as PSG retained their Ligue 1 title.
However, he was inconsistent in helping the team in their aim to win the Champions League in his two seasons at the club.

PSG themselves posted a message of thanks on the club’s Twitter account, which read: “Paris Saint-Germain is delighted to have seen @SergioRamos defend our colors with such determination and sincerely wishes him all the best for the rest of his career.”
The club also released a montage of the best moments in the PSG shirt along with a collage of Ramos with the caption “Merci Ramos”.
His exit follows Messi in leaving the French side, after it was announced this week that the World Cup winner would not be renewing his contract, despite featuring in promotional material for the club’s 2023-24 home shirt.
