WORCESTER, Mass. – A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued for parts of Massachusetts Tuesday afternoon.
The advisory is in effect for southwestern Worcester and eastern Hampden counties until 4 p.m., according to the National Weather Service.

Communities affected include Webster, Southbridge, Oxford, Charlton, Spencer, Dudley, Sturbridge, Douglas, North Brookfield, West Brookfield and Brimfield.
Damaging wind gusts, heavy rain, lightning and hail are possible.
