FRAMINGHAM, Mass. – A pedestrian was struck and killed by a tractor-trailer on the Mass Pike in Framingham late Tuesday morning, state police said.
Emergency crews were on scene at mile marker 111 in the eastbound lane of the Mass Pike, state police tweeted shortly after 11:30 a.m.
A state police spokesman said the unidentified pedestrian was found dead at the scene. Further details were not immediately available.
State police advised motorists to expect traffic delays after the pedestrian crash.
