Court News: Three convicted and sentenced in Livingston Parish | Breaking news

Scott M. Perrilloux reports that the following individuals appeared in court on April 24, 2023 before the Honorable William S. Dykes and pleaded guilty, no contest or were found guilty of the following offenses and received their sentences next.

Bradley Pavlicek, 44, of Denham Springs, LA pleaded no contest to two counts of felony possession with intent to distribute schedule II: methamphetamine. He was sentenced to serve 20 years with the Department of Corrections, with all but 12 years suspended, and serve three years of probation.

Albert Rodriguez, Jr., 55, of Springfield, LA pleaded no contest to a charge of theft over $1,000 but less than $5,000. He was sentenced to serve five years in the Department of Corrections, which was suspended, and serve three years of probation. He must also pay costs and fees, pay $10,000 in restitution and submit to random drug testing. He is scheduled to appear for follow-up on August 21 this year.

Wayne Thompson, 44, of Springfield, LA pleaded guilty to felony charges of possession with intent to distribute schedule II – hydrocodone, possession with intent to distribute schedule II – amphetamine, possession with intent to distribute schedule II methamphetamine, possession with intent to distribute schedule II- methylphenidate hydrochloride and possession with intent to distribute marijuana. He was sentenced to serve eight years with the Department of Corrections.
