BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. – The Florida Highway Patrol is on the scene of a fatal crash on US-1 in Brevard County.
Around 4 a.m., troopers responded to the area of Fairview Avenue near Sharpes.
According to FHP, the crash has caused the closure of all southbound lanes of US-1 in the area.

The northbound lanes of US-1 remained open, according to the latest report.
Channel 9 has a crew on the scene and is working to find out what caused the crash and who died.
