Safari Rally Kenya 2023 – Sunday Breaking News

Sébastien Ogier/Vincent Landais challenged teammate Kalle Rovanperä/Jonne Halttunen to head home with a dream 1-2-3-4 for Toyota Gazoo Racing in a spectacular final day at Safari Rally Kenya.

The Frenchman recorded his third win in just five starts so far this season, overcoming some nervy moments in the closing stages to beat GR Yaris team-mate Rovanperä on African soil. It is also his 58th career win. Elfyn Evans completed the podium, while Takamoto Katsuta completed a clean sweep of Toyota in fourth place overall.

Kajetan Kajetanowicz and Maciej Szczepaniak took their Škoda Fabia Evo home piece to back-to-back wins in the WRC2 class, a huge boost to their 2023 title aspirations.
