Security Conclave in Jammu

Around 1,500 special guests, including defense experts and retired army officers will attend a security conclave to be addressed by Defense Minister Rajnath Singh today. The conclave to be held at the General Zorawar Singh Auditorium on the Jammu University campus is part of the BJP’s ongoing program to highlight the nine-year achievements of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led government. After concluding, the Defense Minister will also visit the BJP headquarters in Trikuta Nagar to chair a meeting of senior party leaders to review the prevailing political situation.

K Chandrashekar Rao On 2 day trip to Maharashtra

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao is on a 2-day tour of Maharashtra starting today. During his visit, the Chief Minister will visit the temple towns of Pandharpur and Tuljapur. Rao, popularly known as ‘KCR’, will arrive at Omerga in Osmanabad district on Monday and then leave for Solapur, PTI reported.

On Tuesday, he will visit Lord Vitthal temple in Pandharpur’s Solapur town and offer prayers to the deity, the BRS official said. The CM will also attend a program organized locally at Sarkoli village of Solapur.

Rao will later leave for Tuljapur in Osmanabad, where he will visit the famous Tulja Bhavani temple on Tuesday afternoon, he said, the news agency reported.

Meeting of the Infra Working Group of the G20

The third meeting of the G20 Infrastructure Working Group (IWG) will begin today in Uttarakhand. The meeting will, among other things, deliberate on innovative ways to invest in infrastructure.

The flagship priority to be discussed at this meeting which ends on June 28 is “Financing the cities of tomorrow: inclusive, resilient and sustainable”, along with other priorities, the Ministry of Finance said.
