When the clock strikes 6 pm ET on Friday, June 30, the negotiations will begin.

There wasn’t much anticipation for chaos during this year’s free agency period, but the latest rumors surrounding superstar guards James Harden and Kyrie Irving have stirred the pot.

Other stars like Draymond Green, Fred VanVleet and Khris Middleton are also sure to keep things interesting.

While players can’t officially sign deals until 12:01 pm ET on Thursday, July 6, many of them will agree to terms in the coming days. The Sporting News will track all the notable signings and trades below.

The Lakers sign reserve forward Taurean Prince

The Lakers have signed forward Taurean Prince, 29, but terms of the deal have not been made public. The seven-year veteran has averaged 10.4 points and 3.7 rebounds for his career while shooting a solid 37.2 percent from 3.

Suns sign bench depth in Drew Eubanks, Josh Okogie and Keita Bates-Diop

The Suns need to fill out their roster around the four stars of Kevin Durant, Devin Booker, Bradley Beal and Deandre Ayton. They’ve added three bench pieces by signing reserve big Drew Eubanks, reserve forward Keita Bates-Diop, while re-signing reserve wing Josh Okogie.

And the first free agency deal belongs to…Draymond Green! The Warriors have retained their franchise cornerstone on a four-year, $100 million deal. The contract includes a player option in year 4.

Nets send Joe Harris to Pistons

rumor: The Nets send Harris and two future second-round picks to the Pistons in order to shed salary and create a trade exception. Harris, a career 43.7 percent 3-point shooter, will make $19.9 million in the final year of his deal.

Harrison Barnes signs three-year contract extension with Kings

rumor: Barnes and the Kings have come to terms on a three-year, $54 million contract extension. Barnes played a key veteran role for Sacramento last season, averaging 15.0 points and 4.5 rebounds per game.

James Harden picks up player option with 76ers
