WEEKI WACHEE, Fla. – Deputies are at a home on Maripoe Road in Weeki Wachee trying to arrest an attempted homicide suspect who is armed with a firearm, according to the Hernando County Sheriff’s Office.
Cross streets in the area are Papercraft and Pacific Nighthawk.
Officials are asking residents in the immediate area to stay indoors unless otherwise directed by law enforcement and for children to go indoors.
They are also asking drivers to avoid the area as streets will be closed.
