BOSTON – Boston police are investigating two overnight crime scenes, including one where a car was towed away with a bullet-riddled windshield.
Officers first responded to Leyland Street in Dorchester, where a Boston 25 photographer captured video of a heavy police presence as well as a medical examiner’s van approaching the crime scene.
Investigators taped off part of the street as they collected evidence.
While this was happening, another group of officers rushed to Dunmore Street, which is about half a mile away in Roxbury.
Upon arrival, they discovered a white car behind a church with several bullet holes in the windshield. Police continued to investigate and collect evidence before the car was towed.
It is not clear if these two scenes are connected.
