Donald Trump, is he opposed to attention seeking?
Former TV host turned MAGA wench Kari Lake almost became governor of Arizona, losing her 2022 run for office either because of a huge conspiracy against her (her version of events ) or because his Democratic opponent received more votes (the most people’s version). With admirable(?) sense, she immediately went on an open campaign to become Donald Trump’s 2024 vice-presidential running mate on the basis of the backward, backwards logic of the world that stole her an election (it’s in say, lose them). it shows that she, like Trump, is actually the type of winning candidate (losing candidate) that Democrats fear the most (they probably wouldn’t mind being nominated again). Last month, people reported that Lake “practically lives” in a suite at Mar-a-Lago because he visits so often to network and chat. On Thursday, however, the The Daily Beast reported that his limelight, camera hoarding and, er, buzz greed, has begun to irk the big man, at least according to “advisors” (i.e. members of an anti-Lake faction within Trumpworld) who spoke to the Beast. According to one of them, Trump “sees right through” Lake’s vice-presidential ambitions and is unlikely to pick her for the job. That’s it, at least until another panel of advisers talks to another media outlet about the same issue next week.
