A tractor trailer carrying hundreds of pounds of food and drink caught fire Saturday morning while traveling southbound on I-75 in Hillsborough County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
No one was injured, authorities said.
The fire started in the vehicle’s brake system and then spread to the rest of the trailer, officials said. Firefighters intervened shortly after 6 in the morning

A Florida Highway Patrol spokesman did not provide details on the truck’s intended destination, but the trailer’s markings were for KeHE Distributors, which has contracts with grocers across the country, including Publix.
The fire has temporarily diverted traffic to the south. All lanes have since been opened.
