Political endorsements enter primary campaigns

More candidate endorsements are coming in as we enter the final weeks of the primary election campaign.

Locally, Republican candidate for DeSoto County District Attorney Bob Morris posted on his Facebook page that he has received the endorsement of the Mississippi Police Benevolent Association.

WI “Doc” Harris, a Republican candidate for the 28th House District, was recently endorsed by the Mississippi Automobile Dealers Association.

Meanwhile, his Republican opponent John T. Williams was also endorsed by the Mississippi Police Benevolent Association.

State Sen. Kevin Blackwell (R-Southaven) has announced his endorsement and “A” rating from the National Rifle Association.

The National Rifle Association PAC has also endorsed Republican Lt. Gov. Delbert Hosemann in his re-election bid.
