After keeping a relatively low profile locally during his time as President Biden’s labor secretary, former Mayor Marty Walsh has been raising his profile in Boston in recent months with a series of notable public appearances. Plus, he’s dipping his toes back into the choppy waters of city politics by endorsing a former employee, John FitzGerald, who is seeking an open seat on the Boston City Council.
