A 1,000-acre tourist destination and theme park that will cost more than $2 billion is coming to Northeast Oklahoma in the next few years, American Heartland theme park officials announced Wednesday. The entertainment destination development will be built just west of Grand Lake on Route 66 near Vinita in Craig County, officials said in a news release. Spring 2025. The state’s entrepreneurial approach and innovative partnership efforts have helped make this possible. We look forward to bringing unforgettable generational experiences to Oklahoma.” says American Heartland will be a 1,000-acre development with a 125-acre theme park. The park will feature an American-themed environment with various rides, live shows, family attractions, waterways, restaurant-quality food and beverages. It will also feature six distinctly American lands so guests can travel through the best of American history. The lands will be the Great Plains, Bayou Bay, Big Timber Falls, Stony Point Harbor, Liberty Village and Electropolis. A 1,000-acre tourist destination and theme park that will cost more than $2 billion is coming to Northeast Oklahoma in the next few years, American Heartland theme park officials announced Wednesday.
The entertainment destination development will be built just west of Grand Lake on Route 66 near Vinita in Craig County, officials said in a news release.
The development will be built in phases, starting with a full-scale RV park with cabins set to open in spring 2025. A theme park and resort are scheduled to open in 2026.

The 320 acres Three Pony Park and Camp it will be built next to the park and have 750 RV spaces, 300 cabins and amenities.
