Severe storm damage in Cripple Creek
Cripple Creek, Colo. (KKTV) – There are several broken windows and downed phone lines after a strong storm tore through the town of Cripple Creek Friday afternoon. Cripple Creek police tell 11 News officers have observed downed phone lines and wires, including some on cars. Windshields of vehicles and houses were also damaged when the hail lashed the area. No electrical hazards are being reported. Cell phone service does not appear to be affected. The city has contacted CenturyLink to assess the damage. KKTV has a crew on the way.
