3 missing children last seen in Mesa found safe

Three young girls, ages 2, 5 and 8, who had been missing since May 22 have been found safe, Mesa police announced Sunday. Mesa police said no charges were filed in this case because it was not a kidnapping case. The only living parent, the children’s mother, was arrested in Texas and a family member had agreed to take the children. When the mother was released to prison, she asked for them to be returned.
