BREAKING: 1 man dead after house bursts into flames in Overton
OVERTON, Texas – The Overton Fire Department Received a call at 6:45 this morning on June 17th about a house fire on Ward Street in Overton. When firefighters arrived at the scene, they reported that the house was fully engulfed in flames. Once the fire was extinguished, officers found a male victim inside the home. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Overton Police Chief Bryan Pool is asking for the community’s thoughts and prayers to go out to the victim’s family.
