15-year-old boy shoots another teen in the face in Palm Harbor, deputies say
A 15-year-old boy was in stable condition after another teenager shot him in the face Wednesday in Palm Harbor, deputies said. Deputies responded about 3:55 p.m. to a call about a teenager who had been shot in the 3700 block of Cheltenham Drive, according to the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies found a 15-year-old boy with a gunshot wound to the face. Another boy, also 15, left the area before deputies arrived. Other deputies found him a short distance away. Tulsa police say officers first responded to the scene, near East 1st Street and South Boston Avenue, around 12:50 a.m. Thursday after receiving a call about shots fired at the area Police say officers, who were already in the area, heard the gunshots before they got the call. LONDON (AP) – Glenda Jackson, a two-time Academy Award-winning performer who had a second career in politics as a British lawmaker, has died at 87. Jackson’s agent, Lionel Larner, said he died Thursday at his home in London after a short illness. He said he had recently finished filming “‘The Great Escaper,’” in which he co-starred with Michael Caine. Jackson was one of the biggest British stars of the 1960s and 1970s, winning two Academy Awards, for “Women in Love” in 1970 and “A Touch of Class” in 1973.
