The Chief Executive published an executive order opening a new public tender to award six gaming concessions. Bidders can submit their proposals between July 29 and September 14. In the order published today in the Official Gazette, the authorities noted that the duration of the concessions is limited to 10 years, as established by the new approved gambling law. The city’s current six gaming concessions and sub-concessions will expire at the end of this year. PITTSBURGH – A man is in the hospital after being shot in the ear. According to Pittsburgh police, responding officers arrived in the 2400 block of Starkamp Street in Brookline around 8 p.m. after a caller said their neighbor had been shot. When units arrived at the scene, they found a man with a bullet lodged behind his ear. He was conscious and stable, according to police. CHURCHILL, Pa. — UPDATE 12/7/22: The Allegheny County Medical Examiner has identified the man killed in the crash as 47-year-old Thomas Linwood Ligon. Ligon was from Monroeville. One person was killed and two others were injured in an overnight crash on Interstate 376 East. According to Pennsylvania State Police, the crash happened around 2:33 a.m. on the Parkway near mile marker 79.8. A 2019 Chevrolet Silverado was traveling westbound in the eastbound lane and collided with a 2016 Honda HR-V, which spun and overturned, police said.
