East Hartford teen dies after being pulled from public pool after hours – Hartford Courant
A 16-year-old East Hartford resident was pronounced dead after being pulled from a public pool after midnight Thursday, police said. Police were called to the scene for reports that the juveniles were inside the fenced off area of the pool. While traveling to the pool, police received a report that someone might be underwater, police said. When they arrived, they jumped the fence and found the youths trying to pull a male from the water, police said.
