Glynn County Fire Department medics responded Saturday afternoon to a possible drowning at the Neptune Park public pool on the island of St. Simons, where they arrived and found a 4-year-old boy conscious and breathing after receiving CPR from a first responder and possibly a bystander, said Fire Rescue Division Chief Scott Cook. The boy was conscious and breathing when he was transported by county fire-rescue ambulance to Southeast Georgia Health System Brunswick Hospital, Cook said.
