STOWE TOWNSHIP, Pa. – An arrest has been made in a Stowe Township shooting that left a woman in critical condition Sunday night.
Kazaya Craighead, 23, has been charged with three counts of aggravated assault and three counts of recklessly endangering another person.
Police said they responded to reports of a shooting in the 1100 block of Race Street around 9:26 p.m.
Once they arrived at the scene, they found a 29-year-old woman inside a vehicle with a gunshot wound to the head. She was taken to hospital in critical condition.
A second woman was also taken to hospital to be treated for minor injuries from broken glass.
Police said a 3-year-old boy was also in the vehicle when the shooting occurred, but was not injured.
Craighead is currently in the Allegheny County Jail.
