A 45-year-old Hudson man was struck and killed by a vehicle while riding his bicycle early Sunday in Pasco County, the Florida Highway Patrol reported.
The crash happened on Scenic Drive, north of Jasmine Boulevard, and a person driving the vehicle that hit the man fled, according to troopers, who responded to the scene at 8:30 a.m. The victim was not identified.
The driver of the vehicle was also not identified and authorities are seeking information about the crash. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Florida Highway Patrol at *FHP or Crime Stoppers at **TIPS.
