WORCESTER, Mass. — Police in Worcester are investigating a double shooting that left a 41-year-old woman dead Saturday night.
According to officials, police responded to the area of Cambridge Street shortly after 7 p.m. for a report of a gunshot victim.
When officers arrived, they located a 41-year-old woman with serious injuries and transported her to an area hospital where she was pronounced dead.
Officers then located a second gunshot victim with less serious injuries. She was taken to hospital for treatment.
The names of the victims have not been released.
