Misael Garcia was cleaning the interior of a concrete truck when the accident happened

PORT LAVACA, Texas – The Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office has released the name of a man who died Saturday in a crash involving a concrete truck. Sheriff BJ Vickery said the victim’s name was Misael Garcia, 38, of Port Lavaca.
Authorities said Garcia was cleaning the inside of a concrete truck at the time of the crash. The drum rattled and was caught in one of the deterrents.
Sheriff Vickery said no foul play is suspected.
The Occupational Safety and Health Administration or OSHA was notified and investigated the tragic accident.
“Very tragic and I pray for the family and their loss,” Sheriff Vickery said.
