Fisker receives European certification for the all-electric Fisker Ocean SUV as it prepares for regional deliveries from May 5.

Today, Fisker announced that European regulators have certified the all-electric Fisker Ocean SUV. The company intends to start delivering vehicles to European customers on May 5. Henrik Fisker, President and CEO, stated that the entire Fisker team is excited to deliver the Fisker Ocean One Launch Edition to pre-order holders. The company expects to deliver all Ocean Ones by the end of September for the European and North American launch markets. Fisker also plans to begin deliveries of the Fisker Ocean Extreme from Europe, followed by the United States.
Fisker shared that they also produced several Fisker Ocean Ultra and Sport rigs for testing and approvals. The automaker expects customer deliveries of the mid- and low-priced versions to begin in September 2023. The Fisker Ocean recently received a WLTP certification in Europe of up to 707 km/440 UK miles for the level of Fisker Ocean Extreme finish, the longest of all batteries. -Electric SUV currently on sale in the region.
Henrik Fisker said the company pursued a dual homologation process for the Fisker Ocean in Europe and the United States simultaneously. This allowed Fisker to leverage its unique business model. It shows the company’s flexibility to adjust production and sales based on regional demand. Additionally, the announcement of the WLTP range for the Fisker Ocean Extreme led to an increase in European bookings. Launch markets in Europe include Austria, Denmark, France, Germany, Norway, Sweden and the United Kingdom.

After that, we intend to deliver all the Ocean Ones at the end of September, while also starting some deliveries of the Fisker Ocean Extreme, starting in Europe and then in the United States.”
