WORCESTER, Mass. — Two people were seriously injured in a stabbing at Clark University in Worcester after a fight broke out Tuesday evening.
Knowledge Bethea, 18, of Worcester, is scheduled to be arraigned Wednesday on two counts of armed assault to murder and two counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, according to the Worcester Police Department.
Clark and Worcester police officers were called to the basketball court inside the Clark University gym on Downing Street to reports of a double stabbing shortly before 6:30 p.m.
Upon arrival, officers found two male victims, ages 17 and 23, suffering from serious stab wounds. They were rushed to a local hospital.
Police arrested Bethea, who was determined to be the suspect in the stabbings, according to investigators.
Police noted that neither the victims nor Bethea are affiliated with Clark University.
The investigation remains active and ongoing.
