22-Year-Old Shot In SW Oklahoma City; No Arrests Made

A 22-year-old man was shot Wednesday morning in southwest Oklahoma City.

Oklahoma City police responded to the scene of a shots fired call near Southwest 89th Street and Southwestern Avenue.

A person at the scene stated that he noticed several young men playing with a pickup truck in the apartment parking lot.

Police said the individual fired a handgun at the youths before they fled the scene.

About 30 minutes later, police responded to the scene near Southwest 74th Street and South May Avenue after a victim claimed they were shot while walking home from the 7 Eleven.

Police said the victim’s story didn’t make sense, and police were notified of gunshots from the call that happened earlier.

Officers learned that the victim had left the 7 Eleven near the area of ​​the original shots fired call.

The 22-year-old victim was taken to hospital and treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

No arrests have been made related to these events.
