MBTA announces extra train service for Taylor Swift concerts May 20-21 at Gillette Stadium – Boston 25 News

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – To meet high demand for service, MBTA Commuter Rail and Keolis are releasing additional tickets for the May 20-21 round-trip train service for the Taylor Swift concerts at Gillette Stadium.

These $20 round-trip tickets will be sold exclusively through the mTicket app and go on sale Friday, May 12 at 11:00 AM. Tickets will be released for the special event trains on May 20 and 21 from Boston and Providence. No additional tickets will be released for the special event train on Friday, May 19 from Boston.

Tickets for each special event train will be sold separately and must be purchased for the appropriate origin date and station (Boston or Providence).

Due to high demand, no refunds or exchanges will be available. Tickets must be purchased prior to boarding the event train. All passengers, including children under the age of 11, must have a ticket to board the train.

These are special event trains and ticket sales will stop once capacity is reached. Regular commuter rail tickets and passes are not valid for special event trains. Guests who choose to travel to Gillette Stadium for the Friday, May 19th show via Foxboro Station weekday commuter rail service will not be able to return to Boston after the show ends via train of special events without purchasing the train ticket for the corresponding special event. The last Commuter Rail train from Foxboro Station leaves for Boston at 10:20 p.m., while special event trains will depart 30 minutes after the end of each concert.

Boston special event trains will depart South Station with stops in Back Bay and Dedham Corporate Center before arriving at their final destination of Foxboro Station. Providence special event trains will depart Providence Station with stops in Pawtucket/Central Falls, Attleboro and Mansfield before arriving at Foxboro Station. The schedules for each date can be consulted below.

Friday, May 19 (Boston only):

• Departure from the South station: 16:05

• Departure Back Bay: 16:10

• Depart from Dedham Corporate Center: 4:30 p.m

• Arrival at Foxboro Station: 5:05 p.m

Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 May:

BOSTON:

• Departure from the South station: 16:05

• Departure Back Bay: 16:10

• Depart from Dedham Corporate Center: 4:30 p.m

• Arrival at Foxboro Station: 5:05 p.m

PROVIDENCE:

• Departure from Providence Station: 16:05

• Depart Pawtucket/Central Falls: 4:11 p.m

• Depart Attleboro: 4:25 p.m

• Departure from Mansfield: 16:35

• Arrival at Foxboro Station: 5:20 p.m

NOTE: Trains will depart Foxboro Station 30 minutes after each concert ends.

Patrons are reminded that no prohibited items that do not comply with the stadium’s clear bag policy will be allowed on the train and personal items may not be left on the train during the concert.
