NEWARK, New Jersey (WABC) — One person is dead and three others are in critical condition after a shooting in Newark, according to Essex County prosecutors.
It happened near a liquor store on Chancellor Ave and Leslie Street on Saturday around 8pm
Newark police and detectives are still trying to piece together what led to the shooting.
The investigation forces several roads to be closed in the area.
It is not yet known if a suspect has been taken into custody or if a weapon has been recovered.
