I look forward to the victims’ rights presentations, especially when it is a national event involving speakers from different countries. I wanted to hear their stories, learn how to seek justice, access resources, services from other countries and share a voice to be aware for those who do not trust the legal system; continuously abused in silence, portrayed as mentally ill, driven to break, to avoid retaliation, to struggle to survive.
There is a fine line between the mentally ill and the mentally disordered. The distressed survive with unconditional love, discretion with courage and morality. Mentally ill people are narcissists.
I have attended three different presentations on domestic violence where I was prevented from following my perspective on the main factor, adultery. Adultery is a violation of marriage.
