Details from police are limited, but four people were shot Friday afternoon at a home in the 14700 block of Birchdale Drive in Dale City. As of 3 p.m., police had not yet announced the arrest.
Prince William County police began responding shortly before 2:30 p.m. on Friday, May 26 to reports of a shooting at a home in the 14700 block of Birchdale Drive. They arrived to find a person with gunshot wounds outside the home. Three other victims, all unconscious, were located by police, according to police radio traffic.
All four victims were shot inside a home on Birchdale Drive. One was shot in the abdomen, according to police radio traffic.
Police issued an alert for a black male driving a black 2014 Ford SUV in connection with the shooting.
Police were preparing a landing zone to allow at least one of the victims to be airlifted to hospital. Police had also blocked off several streets in the area of the shooting, including Birchdale and Dale Avenue.
