Donald Trump sat down with Sean Hannity for his latest town hall in Iowa Thursday evening, with nearly every question coming from the Fox News host himself rather than local voters.
In front of a raucous and adoring crowd, the former president was asked about domestic and foreign policy issues, saying he would resolve most of them within six months of taking office and get America “jumping” again. while boasting of his tough stance on Russia and Iran. .
When other GOP primary candidates like Ron DeSantis and Asa Hutchinson were brought up, he dismissed the threat they posed as the crowd booed and jeered at the mention of their names.
But there was no allusion to Fox’s recent $787 million settlement with Dominion Voting Systems over coverage of the first of Mr. Trump’s false claims. Trump that the 2020 presidential election fraud was “rigged” against him.
Mr Trump used the opportunity provided to try to shoot down the latest allegations that he knowingly stored classified documents from the Pentagon from his presidency, insisting: “I know nothing about it. All I know is that it was all right.”
