The breakdown:
1. Gov. Brian Kemp takes a direct shot at former President Donald Trump.
Kemp criticized Trump for posting a message congratulating Kim Jung Un on being appointed to the executive board of the World Health Organization. This comes just days before Trump is set to be the keynote speaker at the state GOP convention. Kemp, former Vice President Mike Pence and other high-profile Republican leaders will not attend. But some far-right figures like Kandiss Taylor and Kari Lake will be in attendance.
LISTEN: Kim Jackson and Ed Lindsey discuss the state of their respective parties.
2. The Atlanta City Council will vote on funding for a controversial police training center.
Additional security is planned for Monday, when council members are expected to vote on whether to fund a proposed police training center. Advocates say a training center is needed. Both environmental and social activists say that the city has not been transparent in the process. A lease for the city could more than double the cost of the training center.

Tuesday in political rewind: GPB’s Peter Biello joins the show.
