Patna-Ranchi Vande Bharat Test today
The trial run of Patna-Ranchi Vande Bharat Express will take place on June 12, a railway official said on Saturday. The test was previously scheduled on June 11.
However, it was rescheduled to June 12 following a two-day call by a student body in Jharkhand, said Birendra Kumar, public relations officer (CPRO) of East Central Railway (ECR) in the area of Hajipur.
Kamal Kishore Sinha, Railway Manager, Dhanbad Division of ECR, said that all preparations have been made for the test.
Several tests will be conducted before the last run of the train between Patna and Ranchi, he said.
According to the schedule, the train will leave Patna at 6.55 am and reach Ranchi at 1 pm. On the return journey, it will leave Jharkhand capital at 2.20 pm and reach Bihar capital at 8.25 pm. The train will stop at Gaya and Barkakana stations.
Goa will host a three-day meeting with the participation of supervisory bodies from the G20 nations
A three-day meeting of Supreme Audit Institutions (SAIs) of G20 countries will be held at Dona Paula in Goa from Monday, an official said.
The SAI20 Summit 2023, which will have a main meeting and four side events, will hold discussions to form a consensus document, or communiqué, a state government spokesman said.
The G20 SAI20 Engagement Group was established during 2022 during Indonesia’s presidency of the G20, he added.
The engagement group’s website reported that the establishment of the SAI20 stems from a recognition of the role of SAIs in promoting efficiency, accountability and transparency in public administration, as well as in supporting of the Sustainable Development Goals.
“This mandate is achieved through active and effective engagement with the full spectrum of stakeholders, from audited entities and governments to the media and civil society. This effective engagement will serve as a barometer of the expectations of the society,” according to the website.
This stakeholder group is expected to strengthen and enhance SAIs’ audit engagements through policy dialogue and identification of best practices.
