A multi-vehicle crash temporarily closes a portion of Parkway East at the Squirrel Hill Tunnel

A multi-vehicle crash in the Squirrel Hill Tunnel temporarily closed traffic on the Parkway East Monday afternoon. A PennDOT spokesman says the crash happened in the Squirrel Hill Tunnel on the east side. All eastbound lanes were closed. PennDOT cameras showed long delays on the exit side of Interstate 376 near Swinburne Street. The tunnel has since reopened. There are no injuries of any kind in this accident.

A multi-vehicle crash in the Squirrel Hill Tunnel temporarily closed traffic on the Parkway East Monday afternoon.
A PennDOT spokesman says the crash happened in the Squirrel Hill Tunnel on the east side. All eastbound lanes were closed.
PennDOT cameras showed long delays on the exit side of Interstate 376 near Swinburne Street. The tunnel has since reopened.
No injuries are reported in this accident.
