The Parkersburg News and Sentinel and The Marietta Times will not publish print editions on Independence Day, or any of the other major holidays: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas
However, our newsroom will remain staffed both the day before and on the actual holiday.
Breaking news and event coverage, local sports coverage and obituaries will still be managed and appear on our website on holiday mornings, and in print the day after the holiday.
