FALMOUTH, Mass. — A $1,000 reward is being offered for information on the location of a Falmouth man who went missing nearly a month ago, and his mother is asking the public to help find her son.
Adam Wacholder, 44, was last seen June 13 and is in failing health, his mother, Peggy Lynn, told Boston 25’s Bob Ward.
“Adam has lived successfully with mental illness and a seizure disorder,” she said. “Adam has built a good life for himself in Falmouth working at Stop & Shop. Adam is 44. He is loved by his mum and dad and sister Bonnie as well as the rest of his big extended family, co-workers and friends and family. Adam is a very kind and gentle soul.”
A Facebook page, “Find Adam Wacholder,” has also been set up as the family waits for his safe return.
Adam was last seen between the 99 Restaurant on Davis Strait and Gifford Street in Falmouth. He is described as 6 feet, 1 inch tall, 220 pounds, brown eyes, brown and white hair and glasses.
“He is a gentle soul, he can be shy if you approach him, but very kind and completely harmless. If you see him, please tell Adam that his family is looking for him,” says a post on the Facebook page dedicated to finding him.
Anyone who sees Adam or knows of his whereabouts is asked to call Falmouth Police at 774-255-4527.
