FAR AWAY? WELL, PHIL, WE PASSED THROUGH LOGAN COUNTY THIS MORNING. >> NOW WE’RE IN SCRANTON. AND SOME OF THE THINGS WE’VE SEEN SO FAR, WE’VE SEEN POWER LINES DOWN, TREES DOWN, A LOT OF LIMBS IN THE AREA. BUT THIS IS SOME OF THE WORST DAMAGE WE’VE SEEN. GO LEAVE MY PHOTOJOURNALIST, JACOB ADAMS HERE. THIS IS A HOUSE OF LICE HERE IN SCRANTON. AND PARTS OF THE FLOOR HAVE BEEN COMPLETELY DESTROYED. AND YOU CAN SEE SOME OF THIS WOOL LAND THAT HAS JUST BEEN COVERED WITH TREES. THIS IS SOME OF THE DAMAGE WE ARE SEEING HERE THIS MORNING. We’ve actually only seen an OG and a passing truck. SO IT LOOKS LIKE POWER CREWS ARE ALREADY HERE THIS MORNING TRYING TO RESTORE POWER TO THE AREA. BUT OBVIOUSLY, THERE HAS BEEN A VERY STRONG WIND. WE SAID THERE WAS A POSSIBLE TORNADO COME THROUGH HERE IN LOGAN COUNTY IN THIS AREA. THIS IS POSSIBLE DAMAGE FROM THIS TORNADO. OF US, YOU’LL ONLY SEE THESE TEN PARTS OF THIS WHOLE WRAPPED AROUND ALL THESE STICKS, ALL THESE TREES HERE. THIS IS JUST A LOOK AT WHAT WE ARE SEEING THIS MORNING. Of course, WE WILL CONTINUE TO BRING YOU THE LATEST UPDATES AS WE GET THEM.

A tornado hit part of Logan County, Arkansas early Sunday morning. Emma Claybrook found downed trees blocking roads in Scranton and Prairie View, and a chicken coop with part of its roof ripped off along Highway 109. The tornado hit the Scranton and Prairie View area around 1: 15 am The National Weather Service confirmed the tornado through radar. Power lines and trees were downed in the Scranton area as well as on Highway 23 south of the Caulksville area.
SCRANTON, Ark. —
A tornado hit part of Logan County, Arkansas early Sunday morning.
Emma Claybrook has found downed trees blocking roads in Scranton and Prairie View, and a chicken coop with part of its roof ripped off Highway 109.
The tornado hit the Scranton and Prairie View area around 1:15 am. The National Weather Service confirmed the tornado via radar.
Power lines and trees were downed in the Scranton area as well as on Highway 23 south of the Caulksville area.
