NORWOOD, Mass. – A grand jury indicted a Norwood man on Wednesday for involuntary manslaughter in the September 2021 death of his young daughter, according to Norfolk District Attorney Michael Morrissey.

Anthony Decosta, 36, will be arraigned Thursday at 2 p.m. in Norfolk Superior Court on charges of involuntary manslaughter, reckless endangerment of a child and witness intimidation in the death of his daughter Francesca, who was 5 at the time. months. , District Attorney Morrissey said.

Decosta was arrested on the warrant by Norwood police Tuesday evening and is being held without bail pending his arraignment, Morrissey said.
