The New York Assembly Democratic conference’s campaign war chest will report more than $2.2 million in cash later Monday, according to a source familiar with the filing.

The Democratic Assembly Campaign Committee, the political arm of the supermajority conference, reports total cash for any conference campaign group or party major committee over the past 23 years in a presentation of non-election years.

The campaigns are reporting their mid-year campaign finance reports, which will be made public Monday in accordance with state election law.

House Democrats had a similar total in 2019, when they also reported more than $2.2 million.

The party holds a 102-48 supermajority in the Assembly and has held power in the chamber since the dawn of the post-Watergate era in American politics.
