DENNIS, Mass – A search and rescue operation is underway after a group of boaters crashed their boat into a jetty in Dennis Friday night, according to Massachusetts State Police.
At least one of the boaters may be missing, and other people from the boat are reportedly injured after it hit a dock near Cold Storage Beach, according to MSP.
The water search is being conducted by the US Coast Guard, Barnstable County Dive Team and Sandwich Fire marine assets. The Dennis Fire Department is in incident command and MSP troopers are on the ground assisting.
