SANTA MARIA, Calif.- Tony Gonzales is a board member of the Alzheimer’s Association. He spoke before Congress in May in support of access to treatments for Alzheimer’s disease.
Since then, there has been progress. Just two weeks ago, Leqembi received FDA approval.
This treatment delays the progress of the disease.
Gonzales says this treatment can add years to her life, which means more time with her family and grandchildren.
Tony’s advice to all people, whether they have the disease or not, is to live for today because he says tomorrow is never promised.
