SUMMIT TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WILX) – Jackson County officials are investigating a homicide in the area of Hollis Street in the Jackson area.
Officials believe the suspect, who is connected to the incident, is located near the M-50 and Miles Road area. Officials released a description of the suspect, saying they were looking for a black man in his 20s with dreadlocks.
On Monday, June 19, people in the area of Hollis Street were told to shelter in place due to an active gunman situation. People were told to report suspicious activity and call 911.
Jackson officials later told News 10 they are investigating a homicide on Hollis Street in Summit Township. Meanwhile, there is no active shooter at this time.
