Debris from the Lake Michigan plane crash (USCG Great Lakes) A small plane crashed into Lake Michigan near Beaver Island Friday morning, officials confirmed, killing one person. BREAKING NEWS: 6-year-old boy dies after being hit by vehicle on Thurston Road
ROCHESTER, NY – A 6-year-old boy died after being struck by a vehicle around 2:15 pm Friday on Thurston Road. Rochester Police Lt. Greg Bello said the boy died at Strong Memorial Hospital after being hit near the intersection with Sawyer Street. He said the driver of the vehicle, which was northbound on Thurston Road, is cooperating with the investigation.
