A woman has died in the Strand Hotel in Limerick in the early hours of this morning.
Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a woman in her 40s at the Strand Hotel, Clancy Strand, this morning, Tuesday 2 May 2023.
Police and emergency services attended the scene after 3am and investigations are ongoing.
A garda spokesman said “the body remains at the scene, and a post mortem will be carried out in due course which will determine the course of the investigation”.
