Glenpool Public Schools students initiated an all-school lockdown Wednesday after reports of a suspicious person in the vicinity of the school, according to the district.
The district says it initiated the lockdown at 9:05 a.m. Wednesday after Glenpool police received a report of a suspicious person in the vicinity of the school.
The district says all schools “will remain on a secure lockdown” while police investigate the report.
According to the district, all students and staff are safe inside the building and no students will be released until authorities conclude their investigation.
