BALDWIN PARK – A semi-trailer with a 40,000-pound trailer overturned and possibly caused multiple vehicles to collide with it on I-10 East, just east of the 605 Freeway.
The California Highway Patrol maintains all eastbound lanes as firefighters work to treat patients, two of whom were trapped after being trapped in a vehicle. The 605 northbound transition to I-10 east is also being held.
All eastbound traffic is being detoured onto 605 South, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash was first reported at 4:46 a.m
